Bingo Safaris – Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing Bingo Africa Holidays and Safaris Limited trading as Bingo Safaris as your trusted travel partner. We are committed to providing exceptional safari experiences in Tanzania and ensuring that your journey is safe, enjoyable, and memorable. Before making a booking with us, you must carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions, which govern our services. We are available to answer any questions you may have.
By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Company Information
Bingo Safaris is a fully licensed safari company registered in Tanzania under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism. Our head office is located in Njiro, Arusha, Tanzania.
The terms and conditions outlined here apply to all services provided by Bingo Safaris (hereinafter referred to as “Bingo Safaris”, “BS”, “we”, or “us”) to you, the client (hereinafter referred to as “client”, “traveler”, or “you”), including bookings made via our website, social media pages, email, or other communication channels.
2. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This includes personal details necessary to process bookings, payments, and provide services.
3. Modification of Terms & Conditions
Bingo Safaris reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Clients with confirmed bookings will be notified of any material changes via email. If you do not object in writing within two weeks of notification, the revised terms will apply automatically.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, brochures, social media, and other materials, including logos, images, and text, is the property of Bingo Safaris or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or display any of our intellectual property without prior written permission.
5. Pricing
5.1 Website Pricing
All prices on our website and brochures are quoted per person in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations, park fees, government taxes, or other operational costs.
5.2 Surcharges
Bingo Safaris reserves the right to apply surcharges in cases of unforeseen increases in costs, including but not limited to fuel, park entry fees, accommodation, or airline fees. If a surcharge exceeds 10% of the total package price, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund.
6. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations
6.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after we receive your written acceptance of the itinerary and the required deposit or full payment.
6.2 Payment
30% deposit is required within 10 days of invoice.
Full payment must be received at least 61 days prior to departure.
Bookings made within 61 days of departure require full payment immediately.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or card (Visa/MasterCard).
6.3 Cancellations
By Client:
61+ days before departure: deposit non-refundable.
0–61 days before departure: 100% of the itinerary cost.
By Bingo Safaris:
We may cancel your safari due to:
Insufficient payments
Safety or security concerns
Force majeure events (natural disasters, political unrest, epidemics, etc.)
Refunds will be issued where applicable, but no additional compensation is provided.
7. Modifications
By Client:
Minor corrections (name spelling, contact info) within 10 days of booking are free.
Changes to itinerary or traveler replacement are subject to availability and administrative fees.
By Bingo Safaris:
We may make changes due to unforeseen circumstances, including flight schedule adjustments, accommodation availability, or park closures.
Major changes will be communicated promptly, and you may accept the change, select an alternative, or cancel for a full refund.
8. Insurance
Travelers must carry valid comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, and repatriation. Additional optional insurance includes cancellation, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation coverage.
9. Medical Conditions and Disabilities
Clients must inform us in writing of any medical conditions or disabilities at the time of booking. If we determine that your condition cannot be safely accommodated, we reserve the right to decline or cancel the booking.
10. Travel Documents
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other required documentation. Bingo Safaris is not liable for costs or delays resulting from incomplete or invalid travel documents.
11. Carriers and Transport
Bingo Safaris arranges domestic flights, road transfers, and other transport services through licensed carriers. We are not liable for carrier delays, technical problems, strikes, lost luggage, or cancellations. Safety standards adhere to Tanzanian regulations.
12. Risks
Participation in safaris and adventure activities involves inherent risks, including wildlife encounters, rough terrain, road conditions, and endemic diseases. Travelers assume responsibility for personal safety and compliance with guides’ instructions.
13. Limitations of Liability
Bingo Safaris ensures the delivery of contracted services to a reasonable local standard.
We are not liable for services not included in the booking.
Our liability for any damages is limited to three times the travel package cost.
We are not liable for delays, losses, or cancellations caused by force majeure, third parties, or the traveler’s actions.
14. Complaints During the Trip
Issues should be reported immediately to the service provider or our on-ground representative. Written complaints must be submitted within 28 days of returning home to allow proper investigation.
15. Local Laws and Regulations
Travelers must comply with Tanzanian laws and regulations, as well as those of lodges, parks, and transport providers.
16. Force Majeure
Force majeure includes events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, terrorism, epidemics, or technical transport failures. Bingo Safaris is not liable for delays, cancellations, or additional costs caused by force majeure.
17. Contract
A binding contract exists between Bingo Safaris and the lead traveler upon booking confirmation and payment. All travelers must accept these terms. Minors cannot make bookings independently.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Tanzanian law. Disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Tanzania.
